Atari releases TV ad campaign for What’s Cooking?

Atari is backing DS release What’s Cooking? with Jamie Oliver with a TV ad campaign, set to hit TV screens in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Creative agency Rushmore put the 20” ad together, which will go on air to promote the title and hammer home the message that the title is an interactive cookbook as well as a game. Game footage, images, recipes and Jamie’s in-game voiceover were used in the ad to mirror the print campaign.

“Rushmore came up with a concept and script shot in three different scenarios to demonstrate the key features of the game, notably its practical tools such as the interactive cookbook and mobile shopping list, as well as the fun games and creative cooking modes that encourage the player to get creative with their cooking,” enthused Mathieu Brossette, senior group product manager at Atari Europe.

“Rushmore have done a great job and we’re really pleased with the end result – the TV ad will help to boost sales of the game in the run-up to Christmas.”
