The Vietnam add-on pack for EA’s popular Battlefield: Bad Company 2 shooter will go on sale next month.
Players will be able to control a US Marine or member of the North Vietnamese Army around four maps in ‘conquest’ and ‘rush’ modes, with new weapons, vehicles, achievements and trophies to unlock.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam will be available to download on PC on December 18th, with Xbox 360 and PS3 versions to follow on December 21st. The expansion will cost $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points (around 10).
The news comes following an update for PC and Xbox 360 users that fixes in-game problems. The full list of corrections can be viewed on the Battlefield blog.
Bad Company 2 owners will also be able to obtain the VIP Map Pack 7 which is due out tomorrow. This DLC includes four multiplayer maps such as reworked versions of Oasis and Harvest Day from the original Battlefield: Bad Company. It’s free for users who registered their VIP code.
There are also several in-game exclusives in Bad Company 2 Vietnam for members of EA’s Gun Club.
Bad Company 2 topped the charts when it was released earlier this year.
