Bioware is currently developing the third instalment of the Dragon Age franchise, the game’s executive producer Mark Darrah announced via a post on the developer’s official blog.
In production for almost two years, the game will use a new engine built on the foundation of DICE’s famed Frostbite 2 engine.
“We are working on a new engine which we believe will allow us to deliver a more expansive world, better visuals, more reactivity to player choices, and more customisation,” Darrah wrote.
No release window or story details have been revealed for Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.
