Blockbuster sells GT5 for 99p

After five long years, Gran Turismo fans will be able to pick up the eagerly awaited fifth instalment in the racing series for just under a quid.

Blockbuster is offering GT5 for a shockingly low 99p if gamers trade in any two titles from a select range of games. They will also receive 10 of in-store credit, according to T3.

Chosen trade-in titles include Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Call of Duty: Black Ops, F1 2010, James Bond 007: Blood Stone and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit.

This is the latest in a string of retail deals to trade in key recent releases for the next big game. Examples include HMV’s offer of Black Ops for 7.99 if consumers traded in Medal of Honor.
