In two weeks MCV will publish a list of the Top 50 women in the UK games industry.
Put together in association with Women in Games Jobs, the list will recognise women from all areas within the games industry working within the UK.
It will be published on March 8th, International Women's Day.
Call for nominations for the list are now open - but hurry, we've got a panel of judges ready to decide the final line up next week.
If you know a woman who inspires, makes a difference and deserves to be recognised please nomination her by sending details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Get your nominations in by 11am Wednesday, February 27th.
The list will be decided by a panel including: Gina Jackson, games consultant and CEO of Women in Games Jobs; Debbie Bestwick managing director of Team 17; and Siobhan Reddy, studio director of Media Molecule.
International Women's Day IWD has been running since the early 1900s and is an official holiday in many countries from Afghanistan to Zambia.
According to the latest statistics available from Creative Skillset the number of women in the games workforce is just six per cent, having dropped from 16 per cent in 2000.
