Call of Duty: WWII gets trailer and release date

Sledgehammer has pledged to make this year’s Call of Duty the most realistic and gritty for some time.

Although there will be Nazi Zombies. Those aside, however, the realism will be on point.

As you can see in the trailer below, the new Call of Duty will deliver on its trademark cinematic feel, this time with players sweeping across Europe as part of the 1st Infantry Division. Scenes will include the iconic Normandy Landing, as first popularised in video game by Medal of Honor.

The multiplayer mode boasts a new create-a-class system, while everything will be underpinned by a new social hub called Headquarters. The aforementioned Nazi Zombies feature as part of a new standalone online co-op mode that has its own story.

Call of Duty: WWII is due out worldwide on November 3rd. There will be three versions – the standard Base Edition (both physical and Digital), a Digital Deluxe Edition including the Season Pass and a Pro Edition.
