Creative firm FreeForm.London buys marketing agency Firebelly

The creative firm behind Ubisoft’s ZombiU campaign has acquired award-winning marketing agency Firebelly.

The acquisition will result in a new larger agency based in Old Street, and means FreeForm.London now boasts a bigger creative team, 2D and 3D animation teams, four edit suites and more.

Firebelly boss Guy Meyer will remain at the firm for a three-month period and then retain a non-exec director role within the new company. Creative services director at Firebelly – Darren Cavanagh – will assume the role of head of motion at Freeform.London’s audio visual division.

Finally, current Freeform.London director Tony Roberts will head up the new-look agency.

“We have more experience in our audio visual team and more award winning resource in our digital team. We’re very excited about making sure our current clients feel all the benefits of the wider team as well as winning new accounts,” said Roberts.

“From a commercial point of view, we are now very well placed to support our LA team and ensure that more global campaigns are realised.”
