Dead Island breaks street date

GAME Australia has tweeted this morning that Dead Island has broken it’s street date, and multiple retailers are now selling the title.

The zombie/tiki first-person shooter was scheduled to land tomorrow, but is now being sold through GAME, EB Games and JB HiFi, with New Zealand’s major online videogame retailer Mighty Ape even promising same day shipping if orders are placed before 2pm to remain competitive.

JB HiFi is going out at the lowest price in New Zealand and Australia, with the standard edition on offer for AUD$89 NZD$108 on PS3 and 360, or AUD$78 or NZD$88 on PC.

Dead Island has been receiving generally favourable reviews, with the higher scores tending to favour the PC version.
