Dead Island dev files ‘Dead Stop’ trademark

While official confirmation is sparse, it appears there’s a lot going on with Dead Island developer Techland.

The dev recently filed a trademark spotted by Siliconerafor a ‘Dead Stop’ game product which specifically applies to mobile phones and portables.

There’s also rumours swirling around a Dead Island sequel entitled Dead World (also trademarked), but Deep Silver denied the game was in production as of late May.

Can’t forget about the Dead Island standalone expansion Riptideas well, an actually announced product Deep Silver promised to provide a more extensive reveal for later in the summer.

Plenty of rumblings, but about the only thing we can be sure about at this point is Techland won’t be shying away from the undead genre anytime soon.
