Digital approach for EA's Army of Two campaign

EA is using social media as its weapon of choice to promote Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel.

“We’re taking a digital approach to the marketing for Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel,” says senior product manager Kevin Flynn.

“Naturally we will be across the different social media outlets building on our audience.”

The firm will also be using other EA titles that Army of Two players are fans of in to drive interest around the release of the game.

“We’ll also be leveraging some of the other franchises from EA that we know our Army core are fans of.

“We know they enjoy Battlefield and Medal of Honor for example so that gives us a platform to broaden our message.”

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel drops pairs of players into the middle of a dangerous Mexican drug war and is scheduled to arrive at retail in March.

“We’re excited for Army of Two fans to get their hands on The Devil’s Cartel so they can get a taste of the Hollywood blockbuster action Army will deliver,” added Flynn.
