Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure hits 3DS eShop next week

Nintendo is readying a new Dr. Mario game for release on 3DS, according to the company’s latest Nintendo Direct event.

Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS eShop on June 11th, with pre-orders for the digital release now available for those interested.

The game will reflect past games in the series, with players tasked with defeating viruses by dropping colored capsules in various puzzle game types.

Miracle Cure will include a Dr. Luigi mode as well as a local and global multiplayer modes. It also packs download play, which means owners of the game can play multiplayer and co-op modes with someone who doesn’t own the title.
