With one month to go until Duke Nukem Forever finally hits store shelves, the Duke himself will make his first public appearance today.
A ‘real life character’ will be present at GAME’s Oxford Street store in London today between 3pm and 5.45pm.
He will give away T-shirts, magazines and badges, sign memorabilia and pose for photos. Accompanying babes and aliens are not confirmed.
Duke Nukem is 20 years old this year and the release of the fantastic new game, Duke Nukem Forever, is the perfect way to celebrate his birthday,” said GAME’s head of UK PR Neil Ashurst.
Ahead of the game’s release, we’ve got our own Duke in-store, in his first ever public appearance and we know that our customers are really excited to meet their hero in real life.”
The store appearance precedes the release of 2K Games’ Duke Nukem Forever, which will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on Friday, June 10th.
The game – announced way back in 1997 – was originally being developed by 3D Realms, but it was announced last year that work had been handed over to Gearbox Software.
