The curtains have just drawn on Nintendo’s E3 press conference, with Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime both taking to the stage to detail the upcoming Wii U.
Whereas Microsoft and Sony had the excuse of upcoming new hardware releases to justify their somewhat lightweight new games offer, Nintendo does not, leaving some a little disappointed in the number of new games on offer.
But what was shown looked fantastic, and news of multi-Gamepad support for Wii U is certainly very welcome.
New game reveals included Wii Fit U, Scribblenauts Unlimited and EA’s Mass Effect 3, as well as Batman Arkham City: Armoured Edition.
There was no sign, however, of Nikkei’s large-screened 3DS.
