EA’s mobile boss Samantha Ryan took to the stage at the firm’s E3 conference and confirmed that a Star Wars mobile title is on the way.
Entitled Galaxy of Heroes, the collectible card title features charaters and space ships from the prequel and classic trilogies. Players can ‘collect, battle and dominate’ other gamers.
Ryan also said that EA’s mobile titles had been downloaded 715m times, resulting in two million downloads a day, across 235 countries. In addition, in this year to date, the firm’s games have been played for a total play-time of 400,000 years.
In addition, Ryan said that EA’s mobile titles – including Simpsons Tapped Out –would be coming to Apple Watch.
