EA retracts PS4 firmware instability claim

Electronic Arts claims a warning that blamed Sony for instability in PlayStation 4 games was posted in error.

The original message, spotted by Polygon, has since been removed, but stated that the mandatory day-one 1.50 firmware update (provides some of the device's major features) caused stability issues with games and that players would have to wait until Sony released another update for some issues to be resolved.

Following the link to the now-removed warning reveals a new statement from the company that claims the original message was “posted in error”.
