EasyJet CCO joins GAME board

The GAME Group hass announced the appointment of Dana Dunne as its new non-executive director.

Dunne currently serves as the chief commercial officer for easyJet. He succeeds Jean-Paul Giraud, who has completed two terms of office and steps down after six years on the Group board.

We are delighted to welcome Dana Dunne to our board as non-executive director,” said chairman Peter Lewis.

He has extensive experience in customer relationship management and maximising the potential of online distribution channels in international markets. His experience across a number of rapidly evolving industries will bring complementary skills to the board.

I would also like to thank Jean-Paul Giraud, on behalf of all the directors, for his contribution to our growth over the last six years. His experience and insight have proved invaluable as we have expanded organically and through acquisitions in European markets, and he has made a significant impact on the Group’s strategy.”

Dunne added: I am pleased to join the GAME Group board at such an interesting time for the video games industry. GAME Group is expanding and developing its customer offer across a number of new channels, interwoven with its successful international store portfolio.

I look forward to helping the Group achieve its ambition of further developing its multichannel business and reinforcing its market-leading position.”

Dunne has previously worked as CEO of AOL Europe and was head of company transformation for AOL in the US. He has also held numerous senior positions across the telecom and media industries.
