SCEE has confirmed via the PlayStation blog that it will release a beta version of anticipated PS3 title ModNation Racers on January 22nd.
However, the beta is limited to just the first 100,000 PS3 owners who log into the PlayStation Store on Thursday January 21st and click on the download.
The download will include four tracks, two of which are exclusive to the European beta.
It also includes a limited version of the Creation Station that allows for the creation of a personal character, kart and alpine-themed track. Custom tracks will then be made available to other users of the beta.
The beta is scheduled to come to an end on February 14th.
