Fallout Anthology collects all of the games in the series in a mini nuclear bomb

Bethesda has announced a Fallout collection that is, quite literally, ‘the bomb’.

The Fallout Anthology collects the first five titles in the post-apocalyptic RPG franchise in a case shaped like the in-game Mini Nuke weapon, which also makes the noise of a bomb, if you’re looking to terrorise the elderly.

To recap, that means that Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics are all included, alongside Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Fallout: New Vegas: Ultimate Edition, meaning all of the latter titles’ DLC is included. (The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta for Fallout 3, Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Gun Runners’ Arsenal and Courier’s Stash for New Vegas.)

Given that the first three games (Fallout through to Tactics) were only ever available on PC, it may come as little surprise that this set will, likewise, be exclusive to the platform.

The 39.99 collection will launch in the UK on October 2nd, giving players just over a month to play through five expansive RPGs before the next instalment, Fallout 4, launches on November 10th.

Luckily, though, the case also features an empty slot for the upcoming sequel.

Stock of the Fallout Anthology will be ‘limited’, according to Bethesda PR and marketing VP Pete Hines, so fans should get their orders in quick – lest it feel like the world has ended.
