Far Cry 3 dev focused on next-gen online RPG – report

OXMhas unearthed Ubisoft Massive designer Marc Cartwright’s LinkedIn profile, which makes mention of a AAA next generation online RPG.

Further evidence in the form of job listings have surfaced as well. The studio is looking to fill several positions including "an experienced Lead Level Designer to join an international team working on a AAA Online RPG."

"In this position you will lead a Level Design team in building the best gameplay experiences ever conceived. For any game. Ever,” the listing explains.

Originally a PC strategy developer, Massive was acquired by Ubisoft and put to work on Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. The developer was also one of a handful of in-house Ubisoft studios that worked on Far Cry 3 alongside Ubisoft Montreal.
