Angry Birds PC publisher Focus Multimedia is set to bring another major IP to games retail.
Premier Manager 2012 will arrive on February 24th, with an SRP of 10.20.The news follows a record breaking Christmas for Focus, which holds almost a third of the PC budget market.
The publisher saw its unit sales increase 16.2 per cent (30,179) and value rise 9.1 per cent (108,145) during Q4 2011, compared with the same period the year before.
Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio were both big hits for Focus, but the firm says these only accounted for half of its sales increase, with new label Black Lime Games also proving popular.
The publishing firm hopes to keep the momentum going with the PC boxed releases of Angry Birds Seasons and Premier Manager 2012.
PM2012 for PC is a remake of last year’s PSN game from Urbanscan. It’s designed to reach a more casual, mainstream audience than the one catered for by Sega’s smash hit Football Manager series. It boasts a fast-paced gameplay experience, with players able to finish a season in one evening.
