Frogster becomes Gameforge Berlin

The shareholders of Frogster Interactive pictures have voted to change the names of its three subsidiaries.

Frogster Interactive Pictures AG will change its name to Gameforge Berlin AG.

Frogster Online Gaming, which handles the company’s European operations, is to be fully integrated into Gameforge Berlin.

In addition, two other operations will also change their name. Frogster America and Frogster Pacific will be changed to Gameforge America and Gameforge Pacific.

The Berlin location and the team are substantial assets for Gameforge. By incorporating the know-how, the products, and the employees of Frogster into the Gameforge Group, we have significantly strengthened our market position,” Frogster CEO and Gameforge COO Seth Iorio stated.

For the marketing and operation of our titles, we now have the combined experience and expertise of around 600 employees in all locations available and can thus offer our players even better service.”

The rebranding should be completed by August 2012.
