GameSpot UK boss Geoff Inns joins IGN parent

Geoff Inns has left GameSpot parent CBS Interactive for IGN owners Ziff Davis.

Inns joins the firm today as VP and MD for Ziff Davis International.

He was previously VP and UK MD of CBS Interactive, the parent company of IGN rival GameSpot. He has also held roles at other big media organisations including Guardian Media Group and Express Newspapers.

Furthermore, he is a member of the Association of Online Publisher’s Executive Committee.

Inns will now report to Chief operating officer Steve Horowitz. He is tasked with building Ziff’s existing properties whilst also targeting new launches and acquisition opportunities.

Along with IGN, Ziff Davis’ properties includes PCMag.com and AskMen.com.
