The MCV/Xbox 360 Quiz returned in style last night, with Gem taking home the big prize.
The contest returned to Holborn’s Sway bar and pitted teams from across the UK games industry against each other.
In addition to regulars such as Ubisoft, Future Publishing and GameSpot, it was also the first quiz outing for the likes of Sony Computer Entertainment, Namco Bandai and Venatus Media. It was also the first time all three platform holders had been present.
Gem (pictured) was crowned the winner, with each member of the team bagging a Star Wars Xbox 360 and Kinect Star Wars.
There were thousands of pounds’ worth of gaming goodies up for grabs as spot prizes. Attendees has the chance to win John Lewis vouchers, champagne, iTunes vouchers, Zynga currency cards and t-shirts, and copies of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Max Payne 3, Star Hawk, Ridge Racer Unbounded and Mario Tennis Open.
Some of the spot prizes had to be decided by tiebreakers, such as an Abba singing contest and a drinking race. If you want the chance to win all of these prizes, all you have to do is enter the Big Quiz in the latest issue of MCV.
