Rockstar has announced an upgraded edition of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is on its way to Xbox 360, confirming previous reports.
Word of the updated release began yesterday, when a list of achievements for the then unannounced Xbox 360 edition was uncovered.
The re-release will pack improved graphics, 720p resolution support, improved draw distances, and – as we’ve already learned – a full set of achievements. That includes 11 secret” achievements not included in the unearthed list.
With the upcoming re-release in mind, Rockstar has pulled the original San Andreas from the Xbox Originals section in the Xbox Marketplace – though it will be available via the Games on Demand service starting October 26th.
