Rockstar has announced some new content it is making available for owners of Grand Theft Auto 5 next month.
The Beach Bum Pack will be the first add-on and will introduce all-new beach themed vehicles and new weaponry that you’ll be able to use in both GTA Online and Story Mode” as well as some new character customisation options for GTA Online.
Also due for release ‘this fall’ is the GTA Online Content Creator which gives players the ability to craft, publish, rate and play custom-made Deathmatch and Race Jobs”. Rockstar will be monitoring the content and awarding any submissions that it particularly likes with a ‘Rockstar Verified’ stamp.
Both add-ons will be free.
Rockstar also clarified its position on the delayed Stimulus Package, that will dish out $500k in in-game currency for players of GTA Online.
We know many of you are anxiously waiting for us to show you the GTA$ Stimulus Package money we announced a couple weeks back,” it stated. As mentioned in that post, we of course want to ensure that game progress loss issues are sufficiently sorted before distributing the GTA$ to everyone.
We have a few more tweaks and fixes to make in a new title update that will hit sometime next week and then we will distribute the cash.”
