GTA holds tight

England’s exit from the World Cup sees football titles slide in the charts, with EA’s FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 and Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer 5 both falling one spot to third and fifth positions respectively. Nintendo’s Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training sits sandwiched between in four.

Eidos’ Tomb Raider: Legend holds firm at six, whilst Activision’s Over the Hedge climbs five spots to seven. Another Eidos title, Hitman: Blood Money, slips three places to eight whilst Nintendo’s Nintendogs: Dalmatian & Friends drops two rungs to nine.

Nintendo’s ever-present Animal Crossing: Wild World claims tenth place for the second week on the trot. Notable new entries in the chart include Ubisoft’s Xbox 360 flight sim Over G Fighters at 13th and THQ’s Titan Quest at 25th.

EA’s Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Sega’s Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast and Atari’s Matrix: Path of Neo all re-enter the Top 40 thanks to promotions on the UK High Street.
