Halo: Spartan Strike launches on Steam, iOS, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone

343 Industries and Vanguard Games’ twin-stick shooter Halo: Spartan Strike has launched on Windows PC, Windows 8.1, Windows Phone and – somewhat unexpectedly – iOS.

The PC version is available now via Steam, while the Windows 8.1 release can be had on the Windows Store. Meanwhile, mobile editions can be found on the Windows Phone Store and Apple’s App Store.

The iOS version is notable, as Spartan Strike publisher Microsoft claimed it had no plans to bring the game to iOS, Android, Xbox 360 or Xbox One when the title was announced in October.

Halo: Spartan Strike runs $5.99 across all platforms, and Microsoft is offering the Halo: Spartan Bundle for $9.99 as well. It packs both Halo: Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike, with the package representing Spartan Assault’s debut on iOS.
