Heather Mills wanted to be Bionic Commando

UPDATED: In what can safely claim to be the strangest story this author has ever written, it has emerged that a potential collaboration between famous divorcee Heather Mills and publisher Capcom fell through when the ex-McCartney demanded the leading role in recent title Bionic Commando.

It’s not completely understood in what capacity Heather Mills was approached by Capcom (though some sort of marketing tie-up seems the most logical bet), but whatever the deal was it fell through after Mills’ demands got out of hand.

The Sun reports that the ex-model wanted ten times the payment offered by Capcom. Best of all though, Mills also demanded a role as Bionic Commando’s lead character. Capcom, reportedly, weren’t keen on basing the game on her”.

Just imagine. We would contact Capcom, but let’s face it – what more is left to say?

It sounds more preposterous than you could possibly comprehend, but MCV has actually heard this story before from official folk in the know. Dare to believe.

UPDATE: In the interests of fairness, Heather Mills has just posted the following on her Twitter account: "Got offered to promote an amputee bionic computer game, from a wealthy computer games company I said if you donate a large sum to charity.

"The stingy company came back saying they couldn’t, what happened to charitable businesses, seems they just want to exploit and give nothing.

"It may make sense to take the offer but I’d rather donate regularly to many charities much more than they’re offering and not be exploited."

You might want to take a look. She’s still going now…
