iGEA announces date for the Digital Australia / New Zealand report

The Interactive Games and Entertainment Association (iGEA) has today confirmed the Digital Australia and New Zealand (DANZ) report for 11th October.

The report, which was formally known as Interactive Australia, catalogues and analyses Australian interactive media usage, and has previously been used to demonstrate clear support for the R18+ classification as well as be the top resource for articulating change within the Australian / New Zealand media landscape.

This year’s report will focus on the increased uptake of ‘digital’ lifestyles in Australian and New Zealand households, in particular how people are integrating their digital consumption with their traditional gaming, as well as exploring the demographics, attitudes and behaviours of gamers territory-wide.

The report is conducted by Dr Jeff Brand, Associate Dean and Head of the School of Communications and Media Studies at Bond University.

The iGEA will reveal the report in Sydney’s CBD. Stay tuned to MCV Pacific for the full story.
