Jose Mourinho starring in new 505 game

Adidas MiCoach and been announced by 505 Games.

There are a number of features but let’s just cut to the chase – it features former Chelsea boss and international style guru Jose Mourinho.

What, you need to know more? Fine, you oddballs.

The game is a sports-centric home training system that integrates with the popular MiCoach network of mobile apps and websites. It has apparently been in development for a year and a half at UK studio Chromativity (formerly known as Lightening Fish).

Over 400 exercises are included along with 18 of Adidas’ licensed athletes such as Kaka, Manuel Neuer and Jessica Ennis. And Jose.

The game is compatible with both Xbox 360 Kinect PlayStation Move on PS3 – with the latter also supporting USB heart monitors.

It’s been fantastic to partner with such a globally recognisable brand as Adidas and on as ground-breaking a product as Adidas MiCoach,” 505 Games’ head of global brand Tim Woodley stated.

We’ve seen athletes of all levels respond to how complete and – literally – exhaustive, the training offered by MiCoach is; we can’t wait to hear how consumers benefit from adding the game to their existing training schedule.

Bringing something truly new to the sports training and fitness segment on consoles, integrating it into the wider MiCoach eco-system and capitalising on a packed summer of sport in 2012 is just the start of a great relationship.”
