Nintendo has confirmed that it will bundle a 3DS stand with Kid Icarus: Uprising when it hits the UK on March 23rd.
The official explanation is that the game simply works better with a secure unit. The unofficial reason, however, is that it’s mightily painful on the hands when playing on the move.
Kid Icarus will also be compatible with Nintendo’s Circle Pad Pro, which hits the UK this Friday alongside Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations.
Considering the hype, it’s strange to think that there’s only ever been two other Kid Icarus games – the 1986 NES original and the 1991 Game Boy sequel Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.
The character has cropped up from time to time, however, most notably in Nintendo’s Smash Bros series.
