Koch awarded THQ Spain/Italy distribution deal

THQ has struck a deal with Koch Media that will see the company assume responsibility for distribution in Spain and Italy.

CVG adds that the publisher has also closed its Spanish and Italian publishing division as part of its previously announced restructuring plans.

"In line with our European growth strategy, we are expanding our Italian and Spanish operations,” Koch CEO Annie Sullivan stated. Therefore, we are very pleased about our new business relationship with THQ across two important territories.

Besides a great back catalogue business THQ has an outstanding new release slate lined up including AAA titles like Darksiders II and Metro: Last Light. This represents a major opportunity for retail and we will do our utmost to ensure sell-through success."
