Lady Layton is the next Professor Layton game

The Professor Layton series has a new protagonist.

Gematsu reports that developer Level-5 has announced Lady Layton: The Conspiracy of King Millionaire Ariadne, which is due out on 3DS and smartphones in Japan in early 2017.

Catriel Layton is the daughter of Professor Layton and is partial to puzzle solving in London, with her odd approach winning her somewhat of a reputation. All of this is underpinned by her search to find her missing father. A-1 Pictures is producing the great looking animation sequences.
