Sony first-party developer Sucker Punch has been hit by a round of layoffs.
As reported by IGN, a Sony spokesperson confirmed there had been redundancies, but did not reveal the extent of the job losses.
Sucker Punch is best known for the Infamous and Sly Cooper franchises. It was formed in 1997 in Washington.
It was acquired by Sony in 2011.
SCEA can confirm a reduction in workforce has taken place at Sucker Punch Productions,” read a statement from Sony.
Sucker Punch is appreciative of the tremendous work team members contributed to the Infamous and Sly Cooper series, and wishes them the best in their next endeavours.”
