Long lost PS4-Vita bundle finally materialises

Sony’s promised PS4-Vita hardware bundle looks like it could finally be set for release.

The SKU was first confirmed to MCV by Sony UK’s senior product manager Ben Law back when the PS4 launched in November. It was said to be scheduled for a pre-Christmas release but never actually arrived.

Now IGN has spotted a listing on Amazon France for what is called the PS4 PS Vita Ultimate Player Edition. The €579.99 (470) SKU includes both consoles and a DualShock 4 controller. The separate retail RRP for both machines would be 530, although it wouldn’t be hard to nab both new for under 450 with a bit of hunting.

IGN reports that a flyer from Best Buy also seems to confirm the bundle for the US, where it is listed at $559.98 (335/€413).

With regards to the UK, Sony told Eurogamer that "the availability of the PS4/Vita bundle will be determined and announced on a regional basis".
