Mastertronic on the move

UK publisher Mastertronic is set to move offices across London tomorrow, from its current base in Southwark to trendy Farringdon in EC1.

The business will continue to operate with its full range of labels, which include Sold Out, MAD, PC Gamer Presents, MAD4Games, Blast and Just Flight.

Mastertronic chairman Andy Payne told MCV: It has been a really brilliant year and we have had a ball. But one thing has stopped us from really moving on and it is our office. As
anyone who has had the dubious pleasure of visiting us will know we have been working in the equivalent of Fagan’s repository.

I think the whole team will look forward to an emphysema free year and may actually enjoy the experience. Whilst I was brought up on a diet of architectural dysfunction, when I got
into my latter stage of life, I really thought things would begin to get better.

I can’t wait to get started at the new place. Cometh the office, cometh the team.”

Mastertronic specialises in re-publishing classic titles at a value price on PC. The firm’s PC Gamer Presents range features much-loved releases such as Tomb Raider: Legend, Just Cause and Maelstrom.
