MCV Awards 2016 Finalist Profiles: Independent Retailer

As we countdown to the MCV Awards 2016, which takes place in London on March 3rd, we profile each of the finalists for the Independent Retailer category

Base.com

Base.com revamped its website in 2015 and ended the year with sales growth of nearly 30 per cent year-on-year.

Games Centre

Games Centre consolidated its market position in 2015 and now has eight stores throughout Scotland, in addition to its gamecentre.co.uk website.

Go2Games

Go2Games experienced a 30 per cent increase in gross turnover in 2015 and has focussed on customer service through a dedicated in-house team.

Simply Games

Increased by 61 per cent in 2015 and grew its customer base and our customer base by 27 per cent.

The Game Collection

The Game Collection’s sales rose more than 25 per cent in 2015, which also saw the company celebrate 10 years of its online business.

XPRESS GAMES

XPG has been around the streets of Kent for 10 years, initially trading under the CHIPS Ashford banner, before rebranding under XPRESS in 2010.

The MCV Awards 2016 takes place on March 3rd at the brand new Hilton Bankside Hotel in London,hosted by BBC funnyman Miles Jupp.
