This week down under, more evidence of GAME Australia struggling comes up as it approaches its deadline to attract a buyer by next week:

 

  • GAME Australia began a large-scale sale earlier this week, which has expanded into a full on 60% off 'Final Clearance Sale' bearing such terminal signs as 'Last Chance' and 'Get in Quick' on the company's web site.
  • Meanwhile, MCV took a look back over the marketing initiatives GAME has employed since it had new management come in to re-imagine the GAME brand.
  • Astro Gaming gets a profile as it readies itself to enter the Australian market and compete at retail with Turtle Beach.
  • Halfbrick's Sydney studio executive producer is interviewed about setting up the mobile success story's first sattelite studio.
