Microsoft also promoting Xbox One Witcher 3 hardware bundle, £299.99 exclusively at GAME

Sony isn’t the only platform holder pushing a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hardware bundle on its social media channels.

Microsoft has also entered the fray yesterday, taking to Twitter to promote a deal (below) on an Xbox One, The Witcher 3 and indie title Ori and the Blind Forest for 299.99. This is exclusively with GAME, while stocks last.

By comparison, Sony was promoting a PS4 and Witcher 3 bundle for 279.99, exclusively through Tesco with a voucher code.

Thus continues the fierce price war that is occurring between Sony and Microsoft in their dominance for the UK games market.

Earlier this year, the price of an Xbox One dropped to 299.99 in a retail-led promotion.
