MICROSOFT: Kinect controls confirmed for FIFA, Madden

EA Sports’ biggest franchises will gain Kinect compatibility this year, with new controls for FIFA 13 and Madden 13.

The new features were demonstrated during Microsoft’s E3 press conference. A demo of FIFA 13 showed how players will be able to change their player formations and tactics on the fly using voice commands.

Similarly, Madden 13 – demonstrated iconic quarterback Joe Montana – lets them call out individual players and give them commands for each play.

Both games will be released worldwide later this year with the Better With Kinect branding. FIFA 13 is expected in its usual September/October window, while Madden is due on US shelves on August 28th.
