Minecraft reveals Twitch partnership

Video broadcasting platform Twitch has struck a new partnership with Mojang to make it easier to stream Minecraft videos.

Announcing the news at MineCon, the Twitch integration will affect the PC and Mac versions to enable users to broadcast games at the click of a button. The service is expected to go live soon.

Said Twitch VP of marketing Matthew DiPietro: "Minecraft’s constantly escalating popularity illustrates that people love to watch video games outside of the headline grabbing eSports titles. Expect a watershed moment for both players and spectators once the ability to easily broadcast gameplay directly to Twitch goes live."
