Minecraft tops first ever UK Xbox Live Arcade chart

The smash hit Minecraft is the first game to top the UK Xbox Live Arcade Top Ten.

The Top Ten will be printed exclusively as part of MCV’s market-leading charts and market data coverage every week. And our first XBLA Top Ten, for the week ending January 27th, is below.

Unsurprisingly, Minecraft is the top seller. The game has dominated the Xbox digital charts for nine months. Sega’s new IP The Cave – developed by Double Fine – just misses out at No.2.

The chart joins MCV’s exclusive PSN Top Ten, which includes sales data from across Europe.
