Mind Candy's casual gaming phenomenon Moshi Monsters made its UK toy debut last week thanks to a new range of products from Vivid.
The free-to-play Moshi Monsters currently boasts over 30m users worldwide, with one in three UK kids said to have used the site.
The spring/summer range includes Talking Monsters, Soft Toys, Collectable Figures and Backpack Buddies and is being supported by a number of retailers, including one major window campaign.
“Itʼs really exciting to see Moshi toys hit shelves,” Mind Candy CEO Michael Acton Smith stated. “Vivid have produced an awesome range that really represents the fun and collectability of the characters. Retail support has been fantastic and weʼre confident kids will love the toys."
Vivid's senior brand manager Suzie Howes added: "Vivid is very proud to have played a major role in transforming the amazing online world of Moshi Monsters into a range of collectables, plush and games.
"This is a very exciting time, we have had an overwhelming response to the brand and it will be great to finally see the toys in the hands of todayʼs children. Just wait until they see what have in store for Christmas.”
Other Moshi Monsters products already available in the UK include Topps trading cards, Top Trumps, books and calendars.
The Moshi Monsters range is currently being exhibited at London's Toy Fair.
