Nacon is creating an eSports focused gamepad

Peripheral maker Nacon’s latest product is a gamepad for the PC, which is being targeted at the eSports market.

Known as the GC-400ES Alpha Pad, which is a catchy name if you ask me, the controller has been designed with PC gamers and eSports pros in mind, and apparently caters to all their needs. Perhaps the biggest claim from the manufacturers is that the pad features the same precision as a mouse & keyboard combination when gaming.”

The list of key features reveals that there will be customisable weight options, an innovative structure” to the right stick and a pro gamer mode, which is designed to improve the controller when used with MOBAs and shooters. Software that comes with the pad can be used to customise settings and somehow provide greater accuracy. There is also the option to store up to four profiles on the pads internal storage allowing for simple plug and play connectivity.

The device is currently being crowd funded over on Indiegogo, where people can pre order the controller for also low as $59, the recommended retail price at launch will be $89.99. At the time of writing the campaign has hit 12% of its goal, with around a month left of funding time. The controller is expected to ship in September this year.
