Netflix coming to all consoles

Netflix has revealed it aims to bring its service to all formats in future, expanding on its successful partnership with Xbox 360.

While the rentailer currently provides downloadable films through Microsoft’s console, the company’s CEO Reed Hastings has stated it hopes to arrange similar deals for Wii, PS3 and more, according to Reuters.

He said: Eventually we want to be on all the game consoles, all the Blu-ray players, all the Internet TVs. So we are working in parallel with all of those effoers.

Currently our Xbox deal is exclusive and we haven’t characterized it more than that.”
