The studio behind Tony Hawk’s has been enlisted by owner Activision to aid development of Call of Duty franchise.
It’s unknown in what capacity the studio is working in, though it is likely to have assumed a smaller, focused role complementing current COD studios Treyarch, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games.
"We have molded our team into a crack squad of eager developers ready to push the First Person Action genre in support of Activision’s Call of Duty franchise," an official statement reads.
Superannuation claimed back in February that NeverSoft was working on a sci-fi shooter, which at the time it claimed to be Call of Duty related.
The last game to come from NeverSoft was 2010’s Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.
