13th Skull arrives in stores tomorrow and Focus Multimedia is confident it’ll be the biggest casual game of 2011.
It’s the seventh instalment in the publisher’s Mystery Case Files franchise which is the best-selling hidden object series of all time.
Players must search for clues and interview locals to progress through a spooky manor. As they find hidden objects they can mix them together to solve puzzles and progress to the next screen.
The PC game also has a budget SRP of £10.20 to help drive maximum sell-through.
“13th Skull offers incredible quality and simply awesome value with huge PC penetration potential,” Focus Multimedia’s marketing manager Alan Wild told MCV.
“In an economy where many consumers are tightening belts and feeling somewhat stung financially, they’re watching their pennies but they still want to be entertained.
“You don’t see many consoles offering this kind of a proposition for a new-to-market release.”
13th Skull is developed by Big Fish Games and is distributed openly in the UK by Focus Multimedia.
