New partners join Zynga publishing program, third-party API released

Social games powerhouse Zynga has announced a trio of new publishing partnerships.

The company revealed at its Zynga Unleashed event earlier today in San Francisco that Majesco, 50 Cubes and Portalarium have partnered and will have Zynga handle publishing duties for their applicable titles.

Zynga also highlighted Konami, Playdemic, and Rebellion; who were announced as partners during GDC in March.

The company’s Chief Engineer Kostadis Roussos went on to announce they’ve created an API which will be made available to third-party developers.

Roussos explained how the API would allow devs to take advantage of Zynga’s hardware and services infrastructure, and focused on their success in creating efficient solutions for rapidly scalable social game communities.

Our sister site Develop has more on that particular angle.
