New Sly Cooper due this autumn

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will hit store shelves this autumn, Sony has revealed.

It’s the first original PS3 entry in the established PS2 action adventure franchise, and the fourth main instalment. The release window was confirmed on the US PlayStation Blog.

The first Sly game debuted on PS2 in 2002, with a sequel arriving in 2004. The latest main entry in the series, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, was released in September 2005. Sony also released a Sly Cooper HD Collection on PS3 in late 2010.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is developed by Sanzaru Games. It features new powers, an open-world design and a revised platforming system that lets players tap a button to land on a platform semi-automatically.
