Nintendo reveals 100 Classic Book Collection for DS

Nintendo is preparing to break new ground yet again with its DS handheld by releasing a compilation of popular novels for its machine entitled 100 Classic Book Collection.

Developed in association with publisher HarperCollins, the title includes the likes of Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in 80 Days, along with adventures from renowned investigator Sherlock Holmes.

Those unsure about which of the novels to get stuck into will find the story synopsis mode useful, as it details the story and themes of each novel without spoilers.

Additionally, users can tell the title what mood they’re in for a list of recommendations. Electronic bookmarking is also present, along with adjustable text sizes. Additional books will also be available to download over wi-fi.

100 Classic Book Collection will be released on December 26th and will cost 20.
